Dr. Ruby Ghaffari is a highly accomplished dental professional, having graduated with honors from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she held several leadership roles, including Dean of the DMD program and the Clinical Dean. Currently, she serves on the commission of dental education, contributing her expertise to enhance dental training standards.
With a diverse career that encompasses private practice, academia, and international leadership, Dr. Ghaffari has significantly impacted both the dental industry and patient care. She successfully established private practices in Boston and has implemented the American Dental Standards in the UAE.
An advocate for community health, Dr. Ghaffari founded and managed a clinic for medically compromised patients and has been instrumental in securing grants to provide free care to marginalized groups. She also developed the Linkage of Tufts University Students (LOTUS) program, delivering essential dental and medical services to underserved populations.
Passionate and a lifelong learner, she has created numerous continuing education courses, lectured at dental conferences, and published number of papers outlining her research in dental journals. Her commitment to excellence in patient-centric care and community service is evident through her active involvement in various advisory boards.
Dr. Ghaffari is a member of the ADA and CDA and is a fellow of the American College of Dentistry, a prestigious distinction recognizing her outstanding leadership, ethical conduct, and contributions to the dental profession. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, Pilates, tennis, and quality time with family and friends.
